Our mission is to protect Michigan homeowners from losing their homes to delinquent property taxes by providing compassionate advocacy, assistance with negotiating payment arrangements, access to emergency financial relief when available, and practical homeownership education.
Behind every overdue tax bill is a person, a family, and a story worth hearing. We want to restore hope, preserve homeownership, and help families build a more secure future.
Because a home is more than a piece of property. It's where lives are built, memories are made, and futures begin.
Keeping Michigan families rooted in the communities they love.
For co-founders Chris and Tammy, this mission is deeply personal. They know firsthand what it feels like to fall behind on property taxes, work to catch up, and face the uncertainty of potentially losing their home. Together with co-founder Bob, whose real estate and financial knowledge brings another important perspective, they are building Save Our Homes Michigan to help other homeowners understand their options, find practical solutions, and protect the places they call home.
Our vision is to help homeowners understand their options, access practical guidance, and—when resources permit—receive meaningful financial support.
